It mounts to 3M 6000 or 7000 series facepieces with bayonet holders and suits tasks like welding, soldering, metal pouring and abatement. Fit it properly and you get protection rated to ten times the PEL on half facepieces and up to fifty times on properly fit full facepieces. Don't use in IDLH environments.
