Look, when the lights go out you need power you can trust. This APC Smart-UPS SMX 1000VA is a line-interactive unit that delivers pure sine wave output. It keeps servers and network gear running and gives you two switchable outlet groups for prioritizing devices. Mount it as a 2U rack or stand it as a tower. It uses a NEMA 5-15P plug and feeds eight NEMA 5-15R outlets. SmartConnect gives cloud-based monitoring, firmware updates and proactive email alerts. A SmartSlot accepts a Network Management Card for graceful shutdowns of servers and virtual machines. The user-replaceable lead-acid battery recharges in about three hours and has a two-year battery warranty. Hardware is covered for three years, and registration adds another year for battery coverage.
