Plus, it is guaranteed not to stain concrete, driveways, or other surfaces surrounding your lawn (when used as directed). Scotts Green Max Lawn Food can be applied to any grass type in the spring, summer, or fall. We recommend using a Scotts spreader to apply this product. For Scotts broadcast/rotary, use a setting of 3 for the recommended rate or 3 for the regular rate. For Scotts drop spreaders, use a setting of 7 for the recommended rate or 7 for the regular rate.
