Each barrier stretches about seventeen feet and soaks up about fourteen gallons. It then swells into a three and a half inch high, sixty four pound block in about ten minutes. The black, flexible sleeve hugs odd corners and can be dragged into place. An inner absorbent turns to gel, and the dual lobes keep it from rolling away. Leave them in place for ongoing protection and toss them in the regular trash when you are done.
