Description

SharkBite Max push-to-connect fittings allow you make pipe connections with half the insertion effort while withstanding double the burst pressure. Featuring a newly designed stainless-steel retainer, SharkBite Max delivers additional strength and durability while providing a 250 psi pressure rating. Slip couplings are the most efficient way to repair a burst pipe or leak. A slip fitting does the job of two couplings and extra pipe. Only one end of the coupling has a stop, allowing the opposite end to slide freely over the end of a pipe. The fittings are then released using a disconnect tool and slide back onto the other end of the pipe for a successful connection and leak repair. Disconnected Clip is included with the fitting. UPC, IAPMO, and NSF-61 certified and approved. The fitting should be used with copper only and is rated at 200 F, 250 psi. It is made of 1-piece DZR brass. Fittings can be buried and placed behind drywall. Fittings are removable and reuseable. Product is individually bagged. Manufactured to include no more than 0.25% weighted average lead content on wetted surfaces. Third-party listed, compliant with applicable U.S. and Canadian plumbing codes. 25-year warranty when properly installed on PEX, copper, CPVC and PE-RT. Five-year warranty when properly installed with HDPE SDR-9. Patented technology.
