Description

Bury hydrants have a 1-piece variable flow plunger, large cushion type seal not easily damaged. Positive shut-off even when foreign particles are present. Automatic drain feature. Plunger opens drain to prevent freezing and closes at any flow to prevent wasting water. Tamper-proof lock can be locked in closed position by inserting padlock or bolt thru hole in link. Overall length of hydrant is bury depth plus an additional 24 In. Inlet: 3/4 In. NPT (National Pipe Thread). Casing: 1 In. galvanized steel pipe. Drain hole: Tapped 1/8 In. NPT. Brass nozzle: 3/4 In. MHT (Male Hose Thread). Import. Not for use in California and Louisiana. Lead free.
